I have a special interest in helping couples with relationship difficultiessuch as how to have a goodfair fightthat ends and is resolved. I have a special interest in PTSD. My most recent research discovered that some mothers of children with autism experience PTSD. I have followed this with further understanding options to help and support people in recovering. I work with trauma and retraining the body and brain to learn new responses to triggers. The method I use doesn't need you to go back and keep reliving the traumatic eventwhich can be further traumatising.  As a parent of an adult child with autism and an intellectual disabilityI have a special interest in supporting carers and understand first hand the challenges we face.
