As a psychologist I am dedicated to trauma-focused and attachment-oriented psychotherapyrestoring dignity and bearing witness to an individual's pathway to post-traumatic growth and healing. Drawing from a range of modalitiesincluding EMDRCompassion-Focused TherapyDBTMotivational InterviewingNarrative Exposure TherapyACTCBT and Schema Therapymy belief is that the client-therapist relationship ultimately the predictor of positive therapeutic outcomes. My practice is also informed by somaticneurological and family-systems approaches.The interest I have in trauma work stems from my roles treating survivors of torture and trauma (refugees and asylum seekersvictims of crime and domestic violence)and previous work roles with the homeless community affected by chronic and complex PTSDsubstance use and also youth affected by cancer.
