Her therapeutic approach is holistic and she uses evidenced based techniques that are tailored to her client’s experiences and preferences. Zoie works within a community to support her clientswhich involves liasing with parents and family membersallied health professionalsschools and other services to support her clients. Zoie is passionate about supporting access to mental health services for members of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Communities. She completed the Diploma of Auslan (Australian Sign Language) in early 2023 and aspires to continue her training to be a NAATI certified Auslan interpreter. Although Zoie is hearingshe considers herself a strong Deaf ally and has a good understanding of Deaf culture. Zoie uses professional interpreters with clients who prefer signing to spoken English.
